My idea for my personal essay is to describe in detail my football career at Apponequet Regional High School. I didnt use much brainstorming because as soon as i was informed about the assignment i knew exactly what i was going to write about and began writing immidiately
I'm sure you've got plenty of details (which is great), but it means you'll have to think about how to limit this. Your high school football career could be a book! How are you going to limit the time frame? Are there one (or several) moments that stick out in yr memory? And think too about what you're going to say *about* the experience of playing football. What's yr purpose? Are you interested in how it affected yr life? Or did you learn something about competition or team work or something else? It may take the drafting process (and some thinking) for you to figure out exactly what you're trying to say--that's just fine--but do be thinking about it as you remember and select and write.
